Now that wedding season has calmed down a little, we are excited to share some pics and stories of the amazing weddings we were part of this year.  This has been an amazing season, and we’re truly convinced that we get to work with the best couples in the city.

Check out some pics below of Steph and Ryan’s big day!

Steph and Ryan’s wedding took place on a beautiful, super hot summer day at the beginning of August.  Their ceremony was held at one of our favourite locations – the Celebration Pavillion, and the reception followed at the Villa Amato Ballroom.  The view of Vancouver from both locations is spectacular.  We never get sick of looking at this beautiful city.  We are so lucky to live here!

This has been a busy wedding season!  We are very excited to finally share some photos of the wedding that started this year off with a bang!

Melissa and Norbert hosted their wedding at the Shaughnessy Restaurant, on a beautiful sunny day this past May.  The restaurant overlooks the Van Dusen Gardens, which are absolutely stunning.  The Bride and Groom chose beautiful decor, a lot of which they modified themselves, and it really enhanced the beauty of the restaurant.

Check out some photos of this amazing day:

Melissa and Norbert were lovely to work with.  We got along as though we were old friends right from the beginning, and it made going to work seem not like work at all.  We also loved their family and friends, that all really helped make their wedding so incredible.

Not everyone needs a wedding planner to help with their entire wedding.  The couple from this 1920’s Garden Party Wedding planned out a whole weekend of celebrating before we were brought on board to assist with the last minute details and day of coordination.  They booked out the entire grounds of the Xenia Centre on Bowen Island for the weekend, allowing their close friends and family the opportunity to really get to know each other.  Two families becoming one!

After all of their hard work recruiting vendors, scouring thrift shops for their vintage decor, and wrangling up their friends and family for the weekend, they just wanted to be stress free on the actual wedding day.  We were more than happy to help alleviate this stress- that’s what wedding planners are for!
